It's 6:52am on Tuesday and found out were staying at a place called Cloverdale which is the film set for Smallville!
Yesterday we went to a place called White Rock, from at the end of the pier you can see Washington state, USA. Went to a couple of the shops and was already confused by there prices. Everything (apart from Gas) is priced up before tax, food and essentials is 7% and luxury's are 14%. Lets just say everything is half the price over here!
After White Rock we headed to the largest Wal-Mart in Canada. It was huge! They did everything from groceries to paint mixing and a hair salon to car servicing!
We headed back home with some goodies (Monster energy drink is lethal stuff, you can only have one a day!) and a had a BBQ with some lovely burgers, corn on the cob, beans etc.
One thing Sally and I have noticed is car prices. Now the Mustang GT500 over in the uk is around 40k pounds, over here $30k so around 15-20k pounds. Gas prices are half of the uk! at $1.43 thats 70p a litre! Every drive has a V8 truck or hot rod sitting in it.
Today were off to Whistler Mountain, which is about a 2hr drive but will update later possibly with pics.

We made it
Well I'm writing this from the office of my mums cousin in Surrey, Vancouver. It's now 9:52 and just had breakfast, real waffles with plenty of maple syrup.
Yesterday (Sunday 17th Aug) we left Gatwick airport at 11:40 on the dot, with Thomas Cook airlines. After a 10 hour long flight we arrived in Vancouver airport 20mins ahead of schedule. It was Sally's first flight and she was very brave. She says we have to fly more often! only if she pays :D
Now Vancouver airport is roughly 3 times bigger then Heathrow, it's amazing. All the customs staff are in stab vests, and are very polite. Not like our English (Polish) counterparts.
We were greeted by my mums Uncle and Auntie (Pat and Daph) and here cousin Debs (who were staying with).
My first impression of Canada was "when can I move in?". Everything is clean and tidy, the roads are so big and open but looked after so well! No potholes or speed bumps it's heaven for my skyline!
Were staying 15mins drive from Vancouver city centre, and spotted a few nice cars on the way, from a 2008 Dodge Challenger to a Nissan R35 GTR!
Hope everyone back home's all well, and will keep this updated as and when I can.

4 Days to Go
Well as the title says 4 days to go before we head off to Gatwick Airport for the start of our holiday.
Sally's getting nervous about the flight, she hasn't flown before. I'm looking forward to just getting away from this country and seeing how my family live on the other side of the world.
